Let me tell you who we conservatives are: We love people. [Applause] When we look out over the United States of America, when we are anywhere, when we see a group of people, such as this or anywhere, we see Americans. We see human beings. We don’t see groups. We don’t see victims. We don’t see people we want to exploit. What we see — what we see is potential. We do not look out across the country and see the average American, the person that makes this country work. We do not see that person with contempt. We don’t think that person doesn’t have what it takes. We believe that person can be the best he or she wants to be if certain things are just removed from their path like onerous taxes, regulations and too much government. [Applause] We want every American to be the best he or she chooses to be. We recognize that we are all individuals. We love and revere our founding documents, the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. [Applause] We believe that the preamble to the Constitution contains an inarguable truth that we are all endowed by our creator with certain inalienable rights, among them life. [Applause] Liberty, Freedom. [Applause] And the pursuit of happiness. [Applause] Those of you watching at home may wonder why this is being applauded. We conservatives think all three are under assault. [Applause] Thank you. Thank you. We don’t want to tell anybody how to live. That’s up to you. If you want to make the best of yourself, feel free. If you want to ruin your life, we’ll try to stop it, but it’s a waste. We look over the country as it is today, we see so much waste, human potential that’s been destroyed by 50 years of a welfare state. By a failed war on poverty. [Applause] We love the people of this country. And we want this to be the greatest country it can be, but we do understand, as people created and endowed by our creator, we’re all individuals. We resist the effort to group us. We resist the effort to make us feel that we’re all the same, that we’re no different than anybody else. We’re all different. There are no two things or people in this world who are created in a way that they end up with equal outcomes. That’s up to them. They are created equal, given the chance - -[Applause] We don’t hate anybody. We don’t — I mean, the racism in this country, if you ask me, I know many people in this audience — let me deal with this head on. You know what the cliche is, a conservative: racist, sexist, bigot, homophobe. Excuse me, ladies and gentlemen of America, if you were paying attention, I know you were, the racism in our culture was exclusively and fully on display in the Democrat primary last year. [Applause] It was not us asking whether Barack Obama was authentic. What we were asking is: Is he wrong? We concluded, yes. We still think so. But we didn’t ask if he was authentically black. We didn’t say, as some Southern Christian Leadership Conference leaders said: Barack is not authentic, he’s not got any slave blood. He’s really not down for the struggle, but his wife is. So don’t expect the race industry to go away. Southern Christian Leadership Conference — you may not know this, because it wasn’t reported in the Drive-By Media — the racism, the sexism, the bigotry that we’re all charged with, just so you across the United States of America know, and you’ll see demonstrated here as the afternoon goes on, doesn’t exist on our side. We want everybody to succeed. [Applause] You know why? We want the country to succeed, and for the country to succeed, its people — its individuals — must succeed. Everyone among us must be pursuing his ambition or her desire, whatever, with excellence. Trying to be the best they can be. Not told, as they are told by the Democrat Party: You really can’t do that, you don’t have what it takes, besides you’re a minority or you’re a woman and there are too many people that want to discriminate against you. You can’t get anywhere. You need to depend on us. — take a look at all the constituency groups that for 50 years have been depending on the Democrat Party to improve their lives. And you tell me if you find any. They’re still complaining, still griping about the same problems. Their problems don’t get fixed by government. And those lives have been poisoned. Those lives have been cut short by false promises, from government representatives who said don’t worry about it, we’ll take care of you. Just vote for us. —-rush limbaugh
Im back in full conservative effect bitches….and yes i still hope that asshole obama fails how about that stimulus bill suckers? you feel stimulated yet? huh?
on all the hullabaloo over the NY post chimp cartoon
why is it that only liberals saw the chimp as representing obama? does that make them racist?
conservatives or a majority of people that i talked to said the chimp represented the legislators who wrote the stimulus bill… a bloated rampaging alcoholic lobster and shrimp fed chimp basically add private jets and thats what congress is… but if the liberals want to go and compare black people to chimps i think they need to step back and rethink who the racist ones are…

That Ida B. Wells, the co-founder of the NAACP, was a republican…just something for you to chew on check her out a wikipedia she led an interesting life…
One had better die fighting against injustice than die like a dog or a rat in a trap.
-Ida B. Wells
“Thousands of children detail their hopes for Obama in letters and drawings as part of a project by the National Education Assn. and KidThing.com, with 150 chosen for publication in a free e-book.” The kids sent him letters asking for their hopes to be realized. Most had tall orders. “Anthony Pape, 10, of DuBois, Pa., offered: ‘I hope that we will have no war ever again. I mean why are we fighting why can’t we all be friends.’ Fellow 10-year-old Sasha Townsend of Soquel, Calif., had a similar request, and then some. ‘I would appreciate it if you would try to make this a greener planet and try to bring home the troops and end the war,’ the fifth-grader wrote.
“‘I am very luckey (sic) because I am not part of a military family, but it saddens me to hear about all the people who die in Iraque (sic) and know that somewhere In the world people are grieving over a lost family member.’ Seven-year-old Aaron Van Blerkom’s letter was simpler — but no less problematic. ‘Dear Mr. Obama,’ the Pasadena first-grader began, ‘Please Make it rain candy!’” Socialize America and tell you what to do. Obama is the man, Obama sure can. “Please make it rain candy,” and, of course, of course, the cute little e-mails from the tykes happen to make national news in the Los Angeles Times. Of course it’s really not much different than the adults that showed up at Fort Myers asking him the questions they asked him last week.
….hahaha im sure if i had kids that were writing letters to Obama it would be more like…]
Dear Mr. Obama,
bomb afghanistan
turn iraq into a parking lot
show iran how a nuke really works
grab russia by the balls
turn cuba into a tobacco plantation
blow a snot rocket at north korea
and tell the rest of the world to fuck off if you have a problem with the way we run things talk to iran
could this retard be any more out of touch i know if i had died in iraq, afghanistan or the HOA operations it would be devastating to my family to have to see my picture exploited in the name of news…seriously obama get your hands out of the media’s pockets and think wiht your brain not your wallet or your ratings asshole
everytime i see an ugly girl that is either pregnant or married i get extremely irritated…and a bad case of the “it’s not fair“‘s then im reminded this is just my biological clock…saying “times running out bitch get yourself knocked up! all the ugly girls can do it why can’t you?!”…then i tell it to stfu itll happen ..one day.. then the clock sniggers and says “in your dreams hon”…and im still irritated…
i think i need to get that checked out ha ha ha
you know i’ve been getting alot of flack lately from people telling me that the democrats and the GOP are basically the same party nowadays bent on spending money they have no business spending and walking around with other’s hands inpockets that they have no business being in.
but at this point i agree to disagree i think because they now have extremely limited power they are ready to set a new precedent and raise the bar for the future of the party. officialy i am not a republican(gasp! i originally registered independent and never changed it i have my reasons)but i have a lot of expecttions of the party for the upcoming two years( i say two years because there is a new election in new years that can turn the tide of the house and the senate). my first expectation is that they stay on the ball with enforcing limited government because the government has no business making personal decisions for me no business dictating my thoughts my paycheck or my words be they religious or politcal. my second expectation is to make the party’s conservative stance clear to the world about how they feel on american values and morals. and thirdi hope they keep protecting me fromthe big government the democrats are trying to bring about i hope they dont cave in and i hope they keep thier names offf the pork bills i’m already disspointed in my former senator arlen specter i guess his pockets mustve been hurting but thats not an excuse and i hope you dont re-eected. most of all i hope obama fails but i hope america stays strong
A veteran state senator has abandoned his effort to ban drinking games such as beer pong and flip cup in Baltimore City bars in the face of a growing online lobbying effort.
Sen. George W. Della Jr., a Baltimore Democrat, said such games encourage excessive drinking, which leads to raucous behavior in city neighborhoods. A bill he introduced late last month would have outlawed any games that award drinks as prizes in city taverns.
because this legislation was a waste of tax money
The bill’s health rules will affect “every individual in the United States” (445, 454, 479). Your medical treatments will be tracked electronically by a federal system. Having electronic medical records at your fingertips, easily transferred to a hospital, is beneficial. It will help avoid duplicate tests and errors.
But the bill goes further. One new bureaucracy, the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology, will monitor treatments to make sure your doctor is doing what the federal government deems appropriate and cost effective. The goal is to reduce costs and “guide” your doctor’s decisions (442, 446). These provisions in the stimulus bill are virtually identical to what Daschle prescribed in his 2008 book, “Critical: What We Can Do About the Health-Care Crisis.” According to Daschle, doctors have to give up autonomy and “learn to operate less like solo practitioners.”
don’t get me wrong i’d love something that was cost effective but monitoring my treatments that fucking outrageous…guide my doctors decision to something more cost effective that’s like putting a bandaid on a 50 caliber gunshot wound right? you politicians make me fucking ill
Daschle says health-care reform “will not be pain free.” Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them. That means the elderly will bear the brunt.
wow…i guess in short they are saying we are living too long…whats next forced euthanasia? fuck it lets just revert to hitler’s plan …might as well go all the way right?(im kidding i like the jews and old people thankyouverymuch)
The health-care industry is the largest employer in the U.S. It produces almost 17 percent of the nation’s gross domestic product. Yet the bill treats health care the way European governments do: as a cost problem instead of a growth industry. Imagine limiting growth and innovation in the electronics or auto industry during this downturn. This stimulus is dangerous to your health and the economy.
